Your memories are our why.

Like you we want to hold those memories forever of our son’s toothless grin, our daughter joining our family and our dog making us laugh. At Bon Ton Studio we don’t just take pictures, we preserve moments in time by capturing portraits and then helping your family find the best way to preserve those moments in portrait art.

Let us help tell your heirloom story.

The Studio

The Portrait Artists

Our studio originated in our historic downtown Cambridge in the mid 1920’s. After many locations in the downtown area it resided at 925 Wheeling Avenue until July of 2013 when the building caught fire taking all of the archives with it. Now the studio is on the outskirts of the north side of town at 1505 Clark Street with the availability to offer both indoor and outdoor portrait opportunities without ever leaving our property.

Kimberly Carter is the owner and main photographer with a passion to connect and get your families personality to shine through in their portraits. As a wife, mother of two and fur child owner, she understands how stressful life can be and the importance of capturing memories before they are gone.

Emily Hill is our assistant photographer and person who helps keep Kimberly on track. Emily helps with everything from client communication, packaging and editing. Outside of the studio, she is also a cosmetologist so she understands how important it is to make each client not only look good but feel great too.
